The Power Of Sharing

We did survive the treacherous mountain ride to Puli; where the parents of our next Couchsurfing host, Crystal, await.

Crystal unfortunately could not be home in Puli that weekend; but still went out of her way to explain Couchsurfing to her parents and convince them that we are “good people” so that they would host us in place of her.

Because we know it’s Crystal’s parents first time receiving strangers in their house, we wanted desperately to reach on time, before sunset – to make a good impression, to be respectful, to not “spoil market” for the other couchsurfers coming after us.

We did reach Puli Township before 6PM (dinner was at 7PM); but we had no luck locating the exact location of Crystal’s parents’ house, until…

Your spare change, even if it’s just $1, would help us go further

Because Uncle Jordon shared a common passion with us
He led us “home” that night

Because Uncle and Aunty You shared their love with us
We had a bed, hot showers and hot meals
We had a “family” that weekend

Because Puli’s community shared their dreams with us
We learnt to listen
We learnt to humble

And we learnt
That

There is no dream that is greater than the other
By sharing it, that dream becomes real

That
Is the Power of Sharing

The Power Of Sharing At Puli
